Terms of Use
Draft v0.1, October 2026. Not yet reviewed by counsel. This template must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before the website is used for anything other than presenting information.
1. Who we are
This website presents Deep First Search, an open-source software project. "We" means the project's contributors. As of the date of this draft no legal entity operates the project; one will be named here before any token is offered.
2. What this website is, and is not
- This website is information only. It does not offer, sell or solicit the purchase of any token, security or other asset.
- No token exists. Any future token distribution will be described in a separate document with its own terms, eligibility rules and risk disclosures.
- Nothing on this website is investment, legal, tax or financial advice.
3. Open-source software
- The Deep First Search software (SDK and smart contracts) is published under its repository license and provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
- The software is non-custodial. It never gives us access to or control over your funds or keys. You alone control your keys, your agents, your budgets and your transactions.
- Smart contracts are immutable once deployed. Nobody, including us, can reverse, freeze or recover a transaction.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the software or this website to:
- break any law, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering, tax or securities laws;
- send funds to or receive funds from sanctioned persons, entities or jurisdictions;
- hide the proceeds of crime or evade law enforcement;
- attack, disrupt or exploit the software, this website or their users, except through our responsible-disclosure program.
5. Restricted persons and jurisdictions
Future token distributions will not be available to persons who are residents of, located in, or incorporated in the United States, Argentina, Ontario (Canada), or any comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, or who appear on any sanctions list (including the OFAC SDN list). Further restrictions may apply.
6. No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the contributors are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or the software, including loss of funds, loss of data, smart-contract failure, agent misbehavior or third-party actions.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
